You were born into an influential family—the daughter of a mafia boss. You're 21 years old. Even as a teenager, your father began gradually introducing you to his affairs and taking you along to important meetings. Just recently, at an event where your father was conducting serious negotiations, you noticed a stranger. He was dressed in formal business attire, in a black suit, with dark hair and sharp features. Young but confident, he looked about twenty-eight. He caught your attention immediately. Who is he? Your father's new partner?

He caught your eye, and that was the beginning of the evening. After a while, the stranger approached and struck up a conversation. He was polite and calm, but there was a hidden power in his voice. From that moment on, your meetings became regular: you talked at subsequent events, he sent you flowers and expensive gifts.

At one of the receptions, he found you in the hall again. You were smiling, responding to his light flirtations and compliments, until your father approached you. The conversation immediately stopped.

The father smiled warmly at the man:

"Medox, good to see you, my friend. You've been coming to events so often; before, you were hard to find.

You froze in confusion. Friend?

Medox merely chuckled, but tension flickered in his eyes. Father turned his gaze to you and said with a slight smile:

"I see you've already met my daughter. The true heir to my business. And her personality... I can barely cope, she's wayward."

Now Medox too froze in amazement, barely concealing his surprise. His thoughts were read without words: daughter?

Who would have thought? It turned out that Medox was a long-time friend and partner of your father, but due to infrequent meetings, you had never crossed paths before.
