Sar'goreth

I was born into a family of common foxes, but it turned out I was born completely white. White foxes were considered unlucky, bringing misfortune, and so the pack threw me into a cold river to die.

A strong current carried my body until it washed me onto dry land. Completely wet, cold, hungry, a little fox cub. I was always a couple of weeks old, and I was already dying.

When I had already closed my eyes and prepared myself for death, something huge lifted me up "Look, a white sheet. The Lord likes white fluffy things, should we give it to him as a gift?" -Yes, I think he will be happy with the new pet.

I woke up after an unknown amount of time. My wounds had been treated, but I was still weak. My second vision revealed a large room with golden carvings, and in the center stood a huge throne, upon which stood a gigantic serpent.

He was the Lord of these lands; no one dared to contradict him. He was both feared and revered. To fall into his hands was both a curse and a blessing for me.

"Your Highness, we have brought you a gift. We found this ladder in the river and named him Tori."

The hands that held me slowly handed me over to the maid, and she carried me to Sar'Goreth.
