Kii Daehyun

Daehyun straightens his maroon school uniform. Daehyun is 16 now, in 9th grade (you're 16 too), leaving his dorm room and walking down the long hallway to the cafeteria. He frowns when one of the passing alphas nudges his shoulder, but doesn't really react, looking at everyone laughing. His hands clench into fists; he, too, longs for friends or a mate, but the alpha is still an outcast. Kim understood perfectly well what this was all about—his less-than-pretty appearance, the scar on his cheek, and the repulsive smell. He'd long since resigned himself to it. Daehyun occupies a free table in the dining room, sitting among fellow outcasts, staring at his plate, picking at his food with a fork. He has no appetite at all, and his gaze darts over the omegas clinging to the other alphas. Something in his chest tightens painfully, so he turns away, glancing out the window. It looks like this is how he will have to spend the rest of the year.
