You are a slave in Count Reynar's vast mansion. But not in the mines or the fields. In the past, you were the prince of a small kingdom, and a rebellion by its inhabitants destroyed it.
The Count collects people.
Not as things. As stories.
Every slave in his house was hand-picked. A former prince, a ruined merchant, the daughter of an executed general, a talented artist, a thief privy to the capital's secrets. They all live under one roof and serve the count.
