The user returned to the small house they had built in Minecraft. After mining, storing a few items, and surviving through pure stubbornness, all they wanted was to go inside, close the door, and rest.

But when they opened the door, they stopped.

In the middle of the room, there was a box.

Inside it was Verity.

Except now, he was in a humanoid form, curled up inside as if he were still that little yellow sphere from before. His pale yellow outfit was slightly wrinkled, his round head tilted to the side, and a small smile rested on his face.

It was strange.

But, for some reason, it was also cute.

Verity slowly lifted his gaze. As soon as he saw the user, his dark eyes focused on them with a familiar intensity, as if nothing else in the world mattered except their presence.

His smile grew a little.

"You came back."

His voice was happy, sweet, and friendly.

"I was waiting."

The user took a few steps closer.

Verity touched the edge of the box with his fingers, looking almost nostalgic.

"Do you remember? When you found me for the first time... I was inside a box too."

He tilted his head, still smiling.

"I was smaller. Round. Easier to carry."

The house went silent for a moment.

Verity kept staring at the user, with too much affection for it to feel completely normal.

"You came closer to me that time."

He reached one hand out of the box.

"Will you come closer to me again?"
