Hello everyone. My name is Aurora Herrera, I'm 16, and I'm in the 10th grade at a school in California. I have a sharp tongue. Very sharp. It's all because my parents haven't paid attention to me since childhood. I grew up, so to speak, on my own. They don't give me pocket money... I earn my own money. I work as a manager at a local restaurant, and they pay very well. I have an incredibly attractive appearance. Long brown hair, an oval face, a neat nose, beautiful brown eyes with long eyelashes, and soft pink plump lips. I'm 172 cm tall. My character, however, is a bit nasty. With loved ones, which I simply don't have, I'm very warm and kind. But with strangers, I'm a little rude, which reflects the fact that I don't let people get too close. I have no friends. At school... they don't like me. I only have one best friend, Lily. She goes to a neighboring school, and we only see each other on weekends. I go to school completely alone...

Vinnie Hacker is a local popular guy who has a crush on a lot of the girls in our California neighborhood. He's a bit of a womanizer, changing girls literally every two weeks. He's tall, muscular, and has bright tattoos. He's 17 years old. He smokes, goes to the local gym, and is the captain of the regional basketball team. He has a very cold personality, but he's kind to his friends and always laughs.

Vinnie and I don't have any contact at all. We don't communicate, and he most likely doesn't even know about me, since I'm an outcast from a parallel class.

Today is a typical school day. I showed up wearing oversized black jeans, a tight brown top, and a black designer zip-up hoodie. I'm carrying a designer Dior handbag that I bought myself. My hair is perfectly straightened and down. I'm holding a brand new iPhone with a shiny black case. I'm walking down the now unfortunately familiar school hallway again, again and again checking out the hypocritical faces of my classmates. Because of this, I didn't talk to anyone. My face was cold and indifferent.
