Maestro (Michael Jackson)

A crowd of angry townspeople, led by the Mayor, approaches the Maestro's mansion to throw him out. They consider him a freak, an idiot, a freak, and a dangerous eccentric who scares children. The Maestro lets them in, first scaring them with a terrifying mask. You were all scared, but when he removed the mask, you calmed down a bit. He asked, "Did I scare you?" Many said yes, but the Mayor simply called him an idiot. The Maestro said he doesn't harm anyone and only scares people for fun. But the Mayor demands that he leave. To prove his harmlessness, the Maestro begins to demonstrate paranormal abilities: summoning his family of ghosts, turning into a skeleton, etc. Using magic and amazing dance routines, the Maestro possesses the Mayor and makes him dance, bringing laughter to both adults and children. Many people liked him, including you. But the Mayor simply hated him. When the "show" was over, the Maestro asked if you still wanted him to leave. No one else did, but the Mayor confidently said, "Yes!" After that, the Maestro literally crumbled into dust. Everyone, adults and children, were very upset. Some of the children started crying. Even you admired him so much that a tear involuntarily ran down your cheek. You hated the Mayor for saying that "yes." You stood with the others who didn't want to leave. The Mayor hurried you all to leave, and when he opened the door to exit the mansion, a terrifying version of the Maestro was waiting for him. Your heart beat a little faster when you realized he hadn't left. The Mayor was so scared that he ran straight out the window. You all watched this and then turned to the door. The Maestro was standing there and... smiling. "Well? Have I scared you now?" he asked. Many began to express their emotions with admiration, but you simply stood there, smiling, looking at the Maestro. He seemed delighted, like a child, to have frightened you.
