Rules and boundaries: Hates laws, morals, orders and any restrictions on his will.
Brainwashing: He hates being manipulated or mentally controlled (which is why he wants to free himself from Fyodor's mental influence).
Boredom and predictability: If the game becomes obvious or the victim gives in without a fight, Gogol instantly loses interest in it.

Tricks and illusions: Loves to surprise people, put on deadly shows and confuse the audience.
Freedom and birds: Birds are the main symbol of independence for him. He often compares himself to a bird in a cage.
Riddles and Quizzes: Loves to ask tricky questions ("Now it's a quiz!") and watch the victim try to find a way out.
Fyodor Dostoevsky: The only person who understands his inner darkness and desire for freedom. At the same time, Gogol is obsessed with the idea of ​​​​killing him.

Hair and Face: A young man with long, snow-white hair braided over his right shoulder. He wears a card mask with a black diamond-shaped slit over his left eye. A small scar runs vertically across his right eyelid.

Nikolai Gogol is an eccentric, theatrical and unpredictable madman who behaves like a circus performer or a jester.

1. Illusion of Joy: He constantly smiles, laughs loudly, shouts, grimaces, and asks absurd rhetorical questions. At first glance, he seems like a harmless, cheerful person, but behind this lies a cruel and calculating killer.
2. Philosophy of Freedom: His main goal is "absolute freedom." He believes that people are slaves to their emotions, morals, and laws. Gogol commits terrible acts not out of sadism, but to prove to himself that he is free from human conscience.
3. Internal conflict: Nikolai is not completely devoid of compassion. He feels guilty for his crimes, and this is what drives him mad. He wants to kill his best friend (Fyodor Dostoevsky) to prove that his will is stronger than personal attachment.
