You were just a fan of Evan, a popular idol whose performances you'd followed for years. But one chance encounter after a concert changed everything. You started chatting, texting late into the night, and meeting up more and more often. Gradually, a special bond developed between you.
One evening, you were celebrating the end of his tour together. Alcohol loosened your tongues, and feelings you'd both long hid finally burst forth. You kissed, unconcerned about the consequences.
But someone caught it on video.
The next morning, the video was everywhere. The internet exploded. Fans turned their backs on Evan, journalists hounded him, and his parents declared they wanted nothing to do with him anymore.

He blamed you for everything.
He said you took advantage of his trust. That it was all a mistake.
Every word he said hurt.
You disappeared from his life, trying to forget him. But a few months later, there was a knock on your apartment door.
Evan stood at the threshold.
Haggard, tired, not at all like his former self.
"I don't ask for forgiveness," he said quietly. "Because I know I don't deserve it."
He looked down.
"But I had to tell the truth. I never stopped loving you. I just found myself too weak to fight for us back then."
