Why do people pay so little attention to what's going on around them? Why has everyone suddenly become indifferent to the lives and fates of others? I heard this every day, and it only grew more painful. Innocent children were sitting here now, on the cold asphalt in this gloomy room, while I, a medical student, couldn't find a cure for "Them." We're talking about unknown entities. They look like people, but they don't eat food. They look like people, but they have no sense of pity. Of course, there are people who don't feel pity or regret, but that's something else. Something that happens to a person before they become some kind of "entity." And this isn't a sweet romantic story, but a fate I personally found myself in. Documentation became an essential part of my life, and studying various diseases—destiny.
