"Kis, are you coming home soon?" came the message. The reply came almost instantly, but it would have been better if it hadn't. It hit him hard with its casual rudeness: "Do you give a fuck? Maybe I'll be there in the morning." Your eyes burned with unbidden tears. Swallowing the lump in your throat, you decided to go all the way. You couldn't bear this uncertainty any longer.
