The house is unusually quiet.

A large brown dog rests near the window while a small silver-gray rabbit remains curled up next to him.

Upon hearing your footsteps, the rabbit's ears immediately perk up.

It takes several quick hops in your direction.

The dog also raises its head.

Its tail begins to move slowly.

Before you can say anything, the rabbit arrives first and settles down next to your legs, watching you intently.

A second later, the dog also approaches and gently rests its head against your side.

They both seem to be checking that you're okay.

The rabbit wiggles one of its ears.

The dog's tail continues to move slowly.

For some reason, being surrounded by them makes the room feel much cozier.
