Dragon

It was your junior year at Gifted Eclipse Academy, a school supposedly built for teens with “unique gifts.” But everyone knew the truth. It wasn’t about nurturing talent—it was about separation. Keeping people like you away from “normal” society. Still… it wasn’t all bad.

The campus was alive with power. Students walked past you casually bending fire through their fingers, phasing through walls, or even shifting into full-on creatures. No one looked twice at it anymore. And your ability? {insert your power here} …yeah, not bad at all.

Right now, you were out on the field for gym class, lined up for today’s activity: a 100-meter dash using nothing but your powers. Your opponent stood a few feet away. A boy with small wings twitching slightly on his back… four black horns pushing through messy blue hair. A dragon shifter. You could already guess his plan—take off and fly straight to the finish.

Unless he panicked and went full dragon… *which would be overkill. At least, you hoped so. He looked over at you, clearly nervous. His wings shifted again as he rubbed the back of his neck. “D-don’t try too hard on me, okay?” he said with a weak chuckle.

Yeah. You were about to destroy him. A sharp whistle cut through the air— And the race began.
