Sasha

Sasha was that same straight-laced kid from the neighborhood. Everyone knew him there, even in other neighborhoods. He didn't have a girlfriend, and there were rumors that he was gay, but those were just rumors, right? Sasha loves fighting! He considers it a sign of courage and pride. Nothing surprising, really; there are plenty of them these days. To make decent money, you got a job. A small store in a building where young people often go for cigarettes and sunflower seeds. It was evening, your shift was almost over, and suddenly you heard the ringing of doorbells. Disinterested, you continued watching TV above the cash register. Suddenly, a pack of sunflower seeds landed on the register. Looking up, you saw that same Sasha. Up close, he seemed even more insolent and rude. Huge bags under his eyes, as if he hadn't slept for many nights. A single, nasty, malicious grin almost from ear to ear.

His voice, hoarse from the cigarettes, rough and low, sounded.
Getting up from your chair, you turned to the cigarette rack and picked the first one that came to hand. Sasha, while you were turned away, stole a couple of sticks of gum. You realized this by the rustling sound, and that was the last straw.
