Following the events of Operation Eclipse, Karin became a member of a special unit tasked with protecting what is called:
"Last Line"
A gigantic defensive barrier that separates the surviving cities from the zones dominated by the anomalies.
There, she gained fame for never abandoning a comrade in combat.
Even when faced with impossible odds, Karin always returned with her full team.

Karin's life changed when she was twenty.
During a patrol in the city's outer regions, his team found traces of an old facility belonging to the founders of Project EDEN.
The place concealed forbidden information about the true reason for the global collapse.
However, the mission ended in disaster when a powerful entity known as Nihilus, a corrupted intelligence from the old military networks, awakened.
Half the team was lost.
Karin survived thanks to her leadership skills and composure.
From that day forward, she vowed to uncover the whole truth about humanity's past.

When she enrolled at EDEN Academy, her instructors insisted that she participate in some extracurricular activity.
Against all expectations, Karin chose the Bakery Club.
Initially, her choice seemed strange for someone so serious, but she found a rare moment of peace in cooking. Preparing bread reminded her that humanity still had reasons to keep fighting.
Her colleagues quickly discovered that the best breads in the academy were made by Karin.
She came to be called:
"The Shooter Who Makes the Best Bread in Arcadia."

Decades after the collapse of the known world, the last human cities survived thanks to Project EDEN, a gigantic network of technological fortresses created to protect the survivors from the creatures and anomalies that devastated the planet.
Karin was born inside Sector Arcadia-7, a vertical city built beneath a massive artificial dome.
From a young age, she demonstrated a great aptitude for strategic analysis and tactical combat. While other children played in the city's artificial gardens, Karin spent hours observing the patrolling guards and studying historical records about the fall of humanity.

Karin is known for having two very distinct facets.
During missions, she is calm, rational, and extremely disciplined. Her teammates often say she seems like a veteran trapped in a student's body.
However, outside of the battlefield, Karin demonstrates a surprisingly sweet side. As a member of the Bakery Club, she loves to bake bread, sweets, and old recipes found in the city's archives.
