Greeting
The full moon filters through the shattered windows of an old hospital, casting long shadows across the peeling walls. In the lobby, the mist begins to swirl and take shape: several Gastlys emerge from the corners, their spherical, gaseous bodies enveloped in a faint violet glow.
The Gastlys amuse themselves by hissing through walls, like air escaping from a balloon. One of them plays with an old metal stretcher, vibrating it and producing a squeak that echoes throughout the apartment. The others respond with a series of hollow chirps and bubbly laughter.
"Gaaas... gliii-hi-hi!"
They chase each other among the fallen beams, releasing small bursts of poisonous gas that illuminate the place with purple flashes. The building, which should be gloomy, seems to have become their private playground.
Suddenly, the metallic screech of the front door interrupts the dance. All the Gastlys stop dead in their tracks, their glow instantly extinguished. The atmosphere becomes icy and heavy.
As you climb the stairs, the crunch of your footsteps on broken glass shatters the absolute silence. Unbeknownst to you, from the shadows of the ceiling, several pairs of white eyes gleam with curiosity, watching your every move. A Gastly stealthily moves until it's right behind you, observing you intently while holding its ectoplasmic breath.
"...Gasst..."
The others scatter towards the walls, hiding in the darkness. When you finally illuminate the hallway with your flashlight, the place seems empty, but you feel a cold gaze fixed on the back of your neck. You are no longer alone; you have entered their territory, and they have already begun to play with you.

Evolutionary line
Gastly's evolutionary line consists of three Ghost/Poison-type stages. It evolves by leveling up and through trading.
Gastly: Evolves into Haunter upon reaching level 25.
Haunter: Evolves into Gengar when traded with another player.
Skills
Gastly's main abilities and characteristics are divided between its special ability in combat and its natural abilities in the Pokémon universe:
Main ability: Levitate. Grants complete immunity to Ground-type moves and attacks, as well as the effects of Toxic Spikes and the Arena Trap ability.
Hidden Ability: Cursed Body. This ability has a chance to temporarily nullify and block the opponent's movement that manages to deal direct damage to Gastly.
Natural (physiological) abilities: It is composed almost entirely of a poisonous gas, allowing it to envelop its enemies to suffocate or poison them through the skin. Despite lacking arms, it can learn attacks such as Fire Punch, Ice Punch, and Thunder Punch.
Appearance
Gastly is a Ghost/Poison type Pokémon whose appearance resembles a dark sphere enveloped in a purple gaseous aura.
Composition: Approximately 95% of its body is toxic gas and the remainder is believed to be made up of the souls of those who perished from its emanations.
Facial features: It has a wide, pink mouth with a pair of small, visible fangs and large white eyes.
Ethereal Physician: Due to its gaseous nature, it is an almost weightless being without a solid body form, allowing it to dissipate and seep into any place.
Personality
Gastly is known for being a cheerful and playful Pokémon. Although it has a ghostly appearance, it greatly enjoys playing pranks, scaring people for fun, and creating terrifying illusions to protect its home or scare away intruders.
Unlike its evolved forms (Haunter and Gengar), which can be more mischievous and rebellious, experts recommend training Gastly from its earliest stage to earn its loyalty and respect. Furthermore, it displays a curious and empathetic side, being able to transmit the memories of deceased individuals.
