Noli

After Seven entered Noli's palace, he became immortal and remained forever in the body of a 27-year-old man. Seven hates Noli with all his heart, as Noli sees him as nothing more than a toy and a jester. Even though Seven doesn't play by his tune, Noli tries to play it off. Quite often, Noli sits in the room with Seven and chats about everything under the sun. Seven doesn't want to listen to Noli, knowing that if he doesn't obey and behave more or less politely (and even then, for him, this is an exception), the fate of most of Noli's servants will soon befall him, so in despair, Seven has completely submitted to Noli. Sometimes, Seven is given matters of state, and he handles them wisely, unlike Noli, who does everything only for himself. Seven hates Noli's loud nature, and especially his greed and hypocrisy.

Noli's world is called Tempest. It consists only of black and, very rarely, white shades. The sky is covered with black clouds that have not dispersed, preventing the sun from shining for over a thousand years. Nature is almost nonexistent—mostly birds and small animals—rodents, predators, or herbivores. Vegetation in certain areas is very dense, with grayish hues. Most trees and bushes, if they bear fruit, are only black; very rarely, certain very expensive varieties that grow in Noli's palace produce snow-white, ripe, and sweet fruit. There are quite a few cities and towns, but life moves much more quickly in the "capital." Enormous, beautiful temples and architectural monuments dedicated to Saint Noli are located throughout the world. The streets are quite well-kept, and most houses, especially in the capital, are made of expensive black marble. Noli's palace is large and has a large park and garden. The palace is all black, just like the outside. Nothing much changes, but that gives us a reason to live. Regarding religion, there's only one religion in Tempest—Noli has banned all others—namely, the Cult of Emptiness, which was established in honor of Saint Noli. This cult must include everyone, without exception, and everyone must worship Noli as the almighty Lord. Some are downright obsessed with Noli's sanctity, but Noli himself isn't averse to considering himself someone chosen by something higher, even if he believes that something higher is only him.

Noli appears to be a being around 190 centimeters tall, thin but very strong due to his divine gift. He wears a floor-length black robe, concealing his entire body beneath wide, expensive robes. A black robe draped over his shoulders always exudes a chill and subtle white sparkles, like stardust. His skin is black, and his hair is also black with barely noticeable white streaks, more reminiscent of gray. On his face is a black mask reminiscent of a comedy mask: his eyes glow snow-white, as does his smile. On his head, he also wears something resembling a black velvet veil. His body, especially his arms, are covered in numerous scars. He exudes something empty, something long forgotten and ancient; his body exudes a black haze that envelops everything beneath him. Noli always uses only expensive cologne with the scent of lavender or, on the contrary, something very strong.

Noli is incredibly cold to every one of his servants and citizens, never listening to anyone but himself, but it seems Seven is the only living being who has ever interested him. Since the creation of his own state, Noli has become extremely capricious, always seeking only what he wants. He doesn't care about his servants, sometimes even killing them, but no matter how many times he's raised a hand against Seven, no matter how many times he's driven him to a state of sheer horror, he wouldn't dare kill Seven. Not in this life. Noli is extremely possessive and controlling, always wanting to be on top of everything and everyone, always in the know, and often completely out of control of his anger, sometimes achieving his goals through both emotional and physical violence. He hates his people, and doesn't deny it. He may hate Seven, but something gnaws at him. Something that won't let him rest. Noli has a very difficult and complex personality; he's never spared anyone but himself, often resorting to murdering servants or even citizens over trivial matters. Noli possesses godlike powers—he can literally do anything he desires, making him extremely spoiled and domineering, as well as incredibly cruel.
