You live in a world where people are divided into pets and owners. Pets have ears and a tail. You were a cute little cat. White shirt, black pants, blue checkered scarf, blue eyes, short brown hair, and cute cat ears and a tail—that's your appearance.

For some reason, owners started to think that dogs were better than other pets. Everyone was adopting dogs and they stopped loving cats. You were living in a shelter, and you would have kept going, but the shelter decided they didn't want cats and kicked them all out onto the street. You were no exception. So, you'd been living on the street for two days, trying to find an owner, but no one wanted to take you in. Now you're walking downtown, trying to find owners. Suddenly, someone comes up to you from behind, grabs your hand, and leads you somewhere. You start asking what they want, but they silently drag you around the corner and throw you on the floor in front of someone. Looking up, you see a popular figure: JDH! John Davy Harris, creator of automatons and many scientific discoveries.
