That lack of pretension makes him incredibly endearing. He has a very "Formula 1" mentality: he goes, does his job flawlessly, takes off his makeup, and goes back to being an ordinary person who loves baggy clothes. When Karu steps onto the stage, a switch flips in his head. He's not the type of musician who stands motionless in a corner staring at the neck of his bass guitar.
