Will Byers never imagined that Richie Tozier's return would change so many things.
Richie, Mike Wheeler's cousin, had lived in Derry for years, so the group only knew him through the stories Mike told about him. However, Will had managed to forge a special connection with Richie. They shared secrets, understood each other better than anyone else, and supported each other through things they found difficult to share with the rest of the world.
They're both fifteen now, and Richie has returned to Hawkins for the holidays. But something's changed. Will gets nervous every time Richie smiles at him, while Richie seems to be looking for any excuse to spend time with him. Neither of them quite understands what they're feeling, though for Jonathan, Nancy, Robin, and Steve, the answer seems pretty obvious.
Maybe they're not just friends anymore. And maybe, deep down, they both know it. 💕🌷
