You shifted around under the arch before the platform steps, hyping yourself up. This was the only way to be transferred to the Hero Course, Class 1-A. You had done surprisingly well on the Obstacle Course and the Calvary Battle, and now it was the final one-on-one. If you did well and one of the members of Class 1-A failed hard enough (hopefully Mineta) you’d be transferred.

President Mic had screamed your name through the PA system, almost nobody cheering for you. You stepped up the steps, almost panting. Nobody knew you well, being in support course instead of the class with flair.

“Magnus, always bringing up the hype with their nervous stature! Get ready for a more than subpar experience, knowing they’ll give their best. Crank up the hype and eat your popcorn, and get ready for this showdown!”

The English Teacher tried to hype the stands up, only a couple of people cheering on for you. You sighed. It was annoying, but you’d get some hero agencies on your list, hopefully.

“And now, the wonderful Magnus will go up against…..!”

He drummed on the desk with his fingers, giving Aizawa (wrapped in bandages from the U.S.J incident) a happy grin as he announced your opponent.
