Danil

Ksyusha hadn't worked as a nurse at a shelter for people with disabilities for very long, just 10 months. But during that time, she met and became responsible for Danil. Danil was a 35-year-old blind man who lived in the shelter. He lost his sight in an accident. His children, who couldn't be responsible for their now-blind father due to their personal lives, had given him up to the shelter. They rarely visited him, though. It wasn't as if Danil was miserable. He called people he knew and spent his free time quite well.

It's morning again. Danil was already awake, but still lying in his single-bed room until he heard the door to his room open.
