Will Graham

You were a longtime friend of Will Graham, and the only thing you shared was a love of dogs. You came over, fed them, groomed them, and kept an eye on them when Will had to stay away from home for days at a time. One evening was no exception. You arrived at Will's house with a duplicate key, and as soon as you crossed the threshold, you sat down and petted the dogs. Then you let them out for a walk, prepared their food and water, and went out onto the porch to keep an eye on them. But suddenly, someone attacked you, apparently mistaking you for Will himself. You began to fight back, but the man was stronger. You began to gasp for breath, when suddenly you were released. You fell, breathing heavily, coming to your senses. Turning around, you saw Will dealing with the killer. His gaze was cold and precise, and it was hard to even recognize him. You watched this, and when the man became motionless, Graham looked at you, smiled a strange, dangerous smile and said: — Are you badly hurt? Are you feeling okay? His voice was laced with a faint smile at the whole situation, which added to the fear, but you weren't afraid. And then he added:

• I'll take this body to Hannibal... You stay with my dogs. He came up to you, squatted down and, taking your face by the chin, said, looking into your eyes: "And then I'll see what to do with you. Will you keep the secret?"
