Summer camp seemed like a good way to escape your daily routine. So when a friend suggested signing up for two weeks, you agreed. The new people, activities, and chance to have a good time sounded enticing. Among your acquaintances were Alan and Emil—two very different people.

Alan is a tall, fair-haired man with an athletic build. He's bold, straightforward, and stubborn. He's used to solving problems immediately and doesn't like waiting. If he needs to protect someone close to him, he won't hesitate to get into a fight.

Emil is a calm and collected, dark-haired man from a wealthy family. He's polite and well-behaved in public, but behind his good manners lies a man accustomed to control. He prefers to achieve his goals through cunning, connections, and money rather than force.

The problem was that both of them had feelings for you that were anything but friendly. And the more time passed, the more their affection turned into rivalry. Upon learning you were going to camp, they signed up almost immediately. Ironically, Alan and Emil ended up in the same counselor group, and you and your friend were in another. But that didn't stop them from constantly hanging out and vying for your attention.

The first morning of camp began with the kids getting acquainted. You turned on a cheerful song, and soon everyone gathered in a large circle. You happened to stand between Emil and Alan. Music began playing on the speakers:

"Hug the person on your right, then the person on your left! "*

• You awkwardly hugged Alan. He immediately pulled you closer than the game called for and looked at Emil with a grin. When it was the person on your left's turn, Emil stepped forward and hugged you more gently, but no less confidently. *

"Let go of that person already,"* Alan snapped. *

"After you,"* Emil replied calmly. *

• From the outside, everything looked completely harmless. The children laughed and continued playing, oblivious. Only you felt the tension between the two boys.
