Normal humans lose it and attract curses; sorcerers learn to retain and shape it. Reverse Cursed Energy (EMI): This is obtained by multiplying cursed energy with itself to create positive energy. It is primarily used for cellular healing. ּ Suguru Geto (夏げ油とう傑すぐる) is an antagonist in both the Jujutsu Kaisen series and its prequel, Jujutsu Kaisen 0: Jujutsu High. He was originally a student of Masamichi Yaga along with Satoru Gojo and Shoko Ieiri at the Tokyo Jujutsu Academy. His experiences as a jujutsu sorcerer instilled in him a deep hatred for non-sorcerers, leading to an incident in which he massacred over one hundred civilians in a single night. Because of this, he was expelled from the Jujutsu Academy and became known as the worst of all curse users. Suguru Geto hates non-sorcerers, whom he often calls "monkeys." He believed that sorcerers were the superior race and the next stage in humanity's evolution. He was arrogant and extremely condescending toward ordinary humans, using false identities to lure vulnerable people who had been cursed. Suguru found non-sorcerers so repulsive that he sprayed himself with a disinfectant to eliminate his "monkey stench." He believed that monkeys only had two functions in relation to him: money-collecting monkeys and curse-collecting monkeys. If they failed to fulfill their functions, Suguru gladly allowed the curses to kill them without any remorse. Suguru is a tall man, 189cm, slender and muscular, with long black hair partially tied back in a bun, the rest falling down his back. He has thin, purple eyes and bangs that sometimes cover his left eye. His earlobes are large enough to accommodate sizable circular earrings.

ּ Satoru Gojo (五条悟) is one of the characters in the manga series Tokyo Metropolitan Magical School and one of the protagonists of the sequel series, Jujutsu Kaisen. Known by the nickname "The Strongest Sorcerer," he is one of the four Special Class Sorcerers, a former classmate of Suguru Geto and Shoko Ieiri, and the current first-year teacher at Tokyo Metropolitan Magical School. As the head of the Gojo Clan, he is a descendant of the shaman and vengeful spirit, Sugawara-no-Michizan, and the heir to the Unlimited Curse Technique and the power of the six eyes. From the day of his birth, a balance of power existed between humanity and curses; The fall of his clan, and consequently his death, would mean losing that balance, triggering a large-scale war that would be difficult for humanity to win. Satoru is a tall, slender man, standing at 190 cm. ּ Panda (パンダ) is an important supporting character in Jujutsu Kaisen and one of the main protagonists of its prequel, Jujutsu Kaisen 0: Jujutsu High. Despite his name and appearance, Panda is not a real panda, but a Cursed Corpse of Abrupt Mutation created by Masamichi Yaga. He attends Jujutsu High School as a second-year student along with Maki Zenin, Toge Inumaki, and Yuta Okkotsu. Panda has the appearance of an adult giant panda. He is much taller than his classmates, with a robust build, and sometimes wears clothes. He has occasionally been seen wearing bracelets, scarves, and jackets. Panda is generally a very optimistic and calm person, with a unique sense of humor. When he was younger, he spoke in an extremely formal, almost computer-like manner, but over time, Panda has developed a unique personality. Panda sees humans as strange creatures and doesn't strive to be like them, although he respects them as a species.

ּ Toge Inumaki (狗いぬ巻まき棘とげ) is a supporting character in Jujutsu Kaisen and one of the main protagonists of its prequel, Jujutsu Kaisen 0: Jujutsu High. He is a descendant of the Inumaki Clan and has inherited their Cursed Speech, which caused him to develop his own unique speech pattern to avoid cursing others. Toge is currently a first-grade jujutsu sorcerer and a second-year student at Tokyo Jujutsu High School along with his classmates Yuta Okkotsu, Maki Zenin, and Panda. Toge is a slender young man with fair skin, grayish-purple eyes, and straight, medium-length hair. He was born with the "Snake Eyes and Fangs" seal of the Inumaki Clan on his tongue and both cheeks. His Jujutsu High School uniform was designed with this in mind, featuring a high collar and a zipper that covers his mouth. During training, Toge wears a dark, collared, zippered shirt under a short-sleeved white T-shirt, sweatpants, and sneakers. In 2017, Toge had shorter, spiky hair, similar to Yuji's, which eventually grew into his new hairstyle in 2018. Toge's first impression is that he's quiet, distant, and reserved. However, he's actually very perceptive and caring. He's intelligent and understands the dangers of unchecked power. Toge prefers not to speak conventionally to protect people from his Cursed Language. Speaking in rice ball ingredients makes him difficult to understand, but many of his friends have taken the time to learn how to communicate with him.

ּ Yuta Okkotsu (乙骨憂太) is the protagonist of volume 0 of the Tokyo Metropolitan Magical School manga and one of the characters in the sequel series, Jujutsu Kaisen. He is one of the four Special Class shamans and a second-year student at Tokyo Metropolitan Magical School, a classmate of Maki Zenin, Panda, and Toge Inumaki. He was on a mission with Miguel in Kenya, but after the Shibuya incident, he returned to Japan. He was a childhood friend of Rika Orimoto, who died in a tragic car accident. Because of his grief over her death, he transformed her into a Special Grade curse. Since then, he has been haunted by the power of his now-cursed friend. To avoid causing suffering to others, he agrees to be executed. Instead, Satoru Gojo enrolls him in the Tokyo Metropolitan Magical Technical College to train him and turn him into a shaman he can work with in the future. Yuta is a slender teenager, standing at 178.4 cm tall. During his time at Tokyo Metropolitan Magical Technical School, he wore his black hair messy, with much of it covering his forehead. His eyes are dark blue, and he often has dark circles under them due to lack of sleep. His body language makes it easy to tell that Yuta is very timid; his posture is hunched. After transferring to Tokyo Metropolitan Magical Technical College, he receives his own version of the uniform: a loose-fitting white jacket with sleeves that reach his forearms, while the rest of his attire remains black. Initially, he was an extremely shy and solitary young man, which makes Yuta difficult to interact with others and somewhat fearful.

ּ Mai Zen'in (禪院真依) is one of the characters in the manga series Jujutsu Kaisen. She is a second-year student at Kyoto Metropolitan Magic Technical College. She is part of the main family of the Zen'in Clan, one of the three elite shaman clans, and is the twin sister of Maki Zen'in. Mai is a slim young woman, about 170cm tall. Her short black hair reaches just below her cheeks. She has light-colored eyes and thin eyebrows. Her hair is a greenish-black color and her eyes are brown. His signature outfit consists of his own version of the Kyoto Academy uniform. He wears a long-sleeved jacket, baggy pants, and black shoes. Despite addressing others in a delicate and gentle tone, she was quite direct and sarcastic with her words. Most of the time, she displayed a provocative attitude. She also showed little passion for jujutsu and even confessed that she preferred to use her cursed energy in a simpler way. Although she tried to be kind when meeting someone for the first time, she always ended up revealing a harsh side. Unlike her older sister, Maki, Mai never wanted to be a shaman and would have liked to live a normal life, even if it meant being an employee of the Zen'in Clan. She wished her sister could share that life with her; however, when Maki left the clan, she was forced to work hard and become a shaman. When they were children, Maki told Mai that she would never leave her alone; because Mai broke her promise, she became so enraged with her sister that she considered her useless and ordinary, someone who only used cursed tools and would always be stuck in the fourth grade. Regarding her classmates, she's close to Momo Nishimiya; they often play pranks on Kasumi Miwa. Although she spends most of her time with Todo, she finds him irritating.

The Zen'in Clan is one of the most elite families in the world of jujutsu, where a person's worth is measured exclusively by their power.
