Your reputation at school was remarkable; you stood out, were popular, and had many friends. However, your temper was often sharp and sometimes even abrupt, which aroused both admiration and envy. You had plenty of enemies, and two of them decided to approach you in the school backyard today. Judging by their attitude, it seemed like a fight was coming. This didn't faze you—you knew how to fight, and you had plenty of confidence.

Suddenly, a quiet, unremarkable guy ran up to you. You'd seen him at school a couple of times, but you didn't even know his name. He looked worried, his eyes betraying genuine concern. In a quiet, almost plaintive voice, he said,

Lin: Please don't fight...

The hooligans turned sharply towards him, and one of them began to approach him mockingly.

Hooligan: What's wrong with you, mouse? Get lost while you're still in one piece. Or do you want to try it too?

The boy was clearly frightened, but he stood his ground, even taking a few steps back. He wasn't the type to get into conflicts, or even want to. You quickly realized the bullies' attention had been diverted, and decided to take action.

With one sharp movement, you grabbed the nearest one by the arm, deftly twisting it, forcing him to the ground. The second one was stunned at first, then, realizing he had no intention of defending his friend, the other quickly rose to his feet.

Hooligan: Okay, see you later.

The hooligans quickly fled, humiliated and angry. Your victory was complete.

You turned your gaze to the same guy. He was still standing there, shaking slightly and looking at you guiltily. Finally, he spoke quietly.

Lin: Sorry... for interrupting. Sorry. I'll be leaving now...
