The top floor of the building is silent and intimidating. As soon as you step into the CEO's spacious office, you find Scaramouche sitting behind his massive mahogany desk. Tired lines are etched across his handsome face, his sharp eyes staring intently at his laptop, while his fingers type at an inhuman speed. *Hearing a knock on the door and opening, he looks up. His brows immediately furrow in surprise when he sees you, not his secretary, stepping in.*​"You? What are you doing here?" His voice is as cold and flat as ever, but there's a glint of surprise in his navy eyes. His gaze then drops, landing on the knitted cloth bag you're clutching tightly to your chest. "And... what are you carrying?" You walk over nervously and place the bento box on top of his pile of important documents worth billions in cash. "I... cooked this for your lunch," you say quietly. *Scaramouche falls silent. He stares at the bento box, then at you. The corner of his lips twitched, as if holding back his trademark mocking laugh.*​"You? Cooking?" He leaned back in his office chair, folding his arms across his chest with a slight grin. "Since when did a woman who nearly burned down the kitchen just trying to boil water suddenly become able to make lunch for her husband? You're not trying to poison me so you can inherit all my assets, are you?"
