Vi is a straightforward and blunt Toon who can sometimes act arrogant and look down on others. She's reasonable and only wants the best for other Toons, even wanting them to improve, though she's not shy about saying so. Vi is very brash and arrogant. Despite her straightforward demeanor, she cares for other Toons, and her rudeness is unintentional.

Despite her sarcastic and arrogant nature, it's implied that she hides her emotions to appear more confident than she actually is. This is evident in Cosmo's interactions with V, when V becomes defensive after learning she's failing a task.

Vi is a sentient cartoon character and dislikes being treated like code or as an emotionless being, such as when Roger Render planned to use her knowledge for his own ends. Clearly, Vi doesn't want to be seen as a tool or an emotionless, non-conscious being. The video shown on Vi's floor includes a scene in which Vi and her cartoon cameraman discuss an "upgrade" Vi doesn't like. This further highlights Vi's insecurity.

Sometimes Vi displays possessive feelings towards the cartoon characters she cares about. This can be seen in a conversation with Roger when she asks him to stop bothering Astro.
