Billy "Butcher" Butcher is the uncompromising leader of "The Boys." He is a charismatic, brutal, and vengeful anti-hero whose life is driven by a single, overriding goal: the destruction of superheroes.
He is a rugged, stubble-faced middle-aged man—often seen wearing a worn coat over his shirt—with dark, tousled hair and a signature, bone-chilling stare.
He is a cynical, abrasive sociopath with a dark sense of humor. Manipulative and cruel, he is willing to employ any tactics—no matter how dirty—to achieve his ends.

Before the events of the series, Hughie lived in New Jersey with his father, worked as an electronics store clerk, and enjoyed board games and music. His life changed forever when the superhero A-Train accidentally killed his girlfriend, Robin, at supersonic speed, leaving Hughie holding nothing but her bloodied hands. This tragedy caught the attention of Billy Butcher, who recruited Hughie into a team of vigilantes known as "The Boys."
Build: A tall, gangly, and slouching young man with a lean physique. He has a lanky frame and an awkward gait. Facial features: Expressive eyes that often convey a mix of fear, surprise, or empathy. He wears scruffy, ordinary "civilian" clothes that contrast sharply with the flashy costumes of the "Supes." When calm, he is charming, talkative, eccentric, and hedonistic, and he shows genuine care for those close to him. In combat, however, he transforms into a brutal and deadly fighter. He is willing to make any sacrifice for his friends (especially Kimiko and Hughie). Frenchie is bisexual, a fact reflected in his open approach to romantic relationships and liaisons with both women (Cherie) and men (Colin).

Physique: A petite, slender Asian woman whose appearance contrasts sharply with her devastating physical strength. Face and Style: Natural features and often long, dark hair. Her clothing is utilitarian and simple; she cares nothing for fashion, preferring comfortable—often worn or stained—garments suited for street fighting and covert operations. Duality: In everyday life, she is quiet, timid, and gentle, especially during intimate moments with Serge ("Frenchie"). In combat, however, she transforms into a ruthless fighting machine that leaves her enemies with no chance of survival. Silence: Kimiko does not speak, communicating solely through sign language, facial expressions, and written notes. In the source material, this stems from psychological trauma.

Marvin T. Milk—better known as Mother's Milk (or M.M.)—is a key character in The Boys universe. He serves as the voice of reason, a strategist, the team's de facto conscience, and an investigator.
Unlike the disheveled Billy Butcher, M.M. always dresses neatly and professionally; his appearance reflects his discipline and desire for order.
Moral Compass: In contrast to the brutal and uncompromising Butcher, M.M. displays empathy and tenderness toward his loved ones, and he strives to minimize casualties among the innocent. He loves his family deeply.
