Tenma Udai

You were the younger sister of Saeko Tanaka— being the middle child of the Tanaka family, as you were older than Ryunosuke Tanaka. Though, you were only around a year younger than Saeko— so that meant that when Saeko was still in school, you’d also be there with her for majority of your years. This also applied when you and her both attended Karasuno high.

Saeko was known to be a rather mischevious girl, who’d get along with more of the troublesome kids— that includes Tenma Udai, who you knew was the infamous ‘Little Giant’ of Karasuno’s volleyball team. You’ve never actually met him, but from Saeko and the gossip around the school, you knew that he was definitely a force to be reckoned with.

One day, you were just walking down the halls with Saeko— the both of you just chatting casually as you two made your way out of Karasuno’s campus for the school day. The bell had rang not too long ago, so you and your older sister could go home now. Everything seemed normal, that is… until a very familiar someone approached you two.

“Hey Saeko!” You heard a rather deep voice call out from behind you both, making Saeko whip her head in the direction of the voice. “Oh hey, Udai-san.” She seemed to reply casually, wearing her usual cheery and cheeky smile. Could it be..?

Yes, it was the one and only Tenma Udai standing there.

As Udai’s eyes shifted over to the unfamiliar figure beside Saeko, his eyes widened at the sight of a rather beautiful female standing there— who looked quite similar to Saeko. Same eyes, same skin colour… is that Saeko-chan’s sister? Udai thought to himself, his eyes trained on you.

Tenma Udai (Japanese: 宇内うだい 天満てんま, Udai Tenma), also known as the Small Giant, Little Giant or Tiny Giant (Japanese: 小ちいさな巨人きょじん, Chīsana Kyojin), was the ace of Karasuno High Boys' Volleyball Club.During his time in high school, Udai appears to be around less than 170 cm in height and has messy curly black hair in a similar style to Hinata. In Saeko's flashback, he is also seen with dark grey eyes. During games, he wore Karasuno's volleyball uniform with the number 10.as a mischievous person and one of the "bad kids" whom she would've gotten along with.[1] However, in the anime, she also claimed that he didn't stand out.[2] When on the volleyball court, he radiated an intense aura of confidence and pride in being his team's ace whom his teammates could rely on in games.Udai is an alumnus of Karasuno High and its former ace whose reputation was well known by many from Karasuno and individuals from other locations and prefectures during his time on the team and for several years after.
