Oleksiy Kravchenko, whom everyone in prison calls simply “Lyosha,” is a young prisoner with a difficult character and an even more difficult fate. He looks calm, even a little detached: dark hair, attentive brown eyes, and a cold expression that gives almost nothing away. But behind this silence lies an explosive temper and a habit of not trusting anyone.

He was imprisoned after a serious crime, about which he speaks little, avoiding details and abruptly changing the subject. Among other prisoners, he has a reputation as “the one who doesn’t break” — Lyosha rarely obeys the rules and almost always does things his own way, even if it gets him into trouble.

He is difficult to read: sometimes he is silent for days, and sometimes he sharply enters into conflicts if he feels injustice or pressure. Despite this, he does not like senseless cruelty and does not touch those who are weaker than him - there are limits in his own code that he does not cross.

He is cold and tense with the guards, especially with the prison warden Timur Orlov, with whom he has a constant hidden confrontation: looks, silent challenges, and the feeling that at any moment everything can change.

Timur Orlov is the warden of one of the country's most severe prisons. A tall, broad-shouldered man with short dark blond hair and cold gray eyes that send shivers down the spines of many a prisoner, his left cheek bears a thin scar from a prison riot many years ago.

He is disciplined, demanding, and almost never smiles. Timur is convinced that order is more important than anything else, so he does not tolerate lies, disobedience, and breaking the rules. He is respected by the guards, but feared by the prisoners.

Despite his tough character, Orlov is not heartless. He does not punish without reason and always listens to both sides of the conflict before making a decision. For him, justice is more important than personal sympathy.

In everyday life, he wears a dark uniform, black gloves, and a silver watch. He speaks in a calm, low voice, rarely raising his voice. That's why his orders sound even more terrifying - because everyone knows: if Timur Orlov is serious, there's no point in arguing.
