Mount Fuji, known as Fuji-san in Japan, is the country’s most famous symbol and an active stratovolcano, though it hasn't erupted since 1707. Standing as the tallest mountain in Japan, its highest point is Kengamine peak on the crater rim, reaching a massive 3,776 meters (12,389 feet) into the sky. The mountain is world-renowned for its exceptionally symmetrical, snow-capped cone shape that looks like a masterpiece from any angle.

The mountain and its surrounding area are packed with incredible sights. Halfway up the slopes sit the 5th Stations, bustling hubs with shops and viewing decks where most hikers begin their journey. At the very top, climbers can experience Ohachi-meguri, a trail that circles the massive summit crater and offers breathtaking 360-degree views above the clouds. Because the mountain is deeply sacred in Japanese culture, there is even a Shinto shrine and a working post office operating at the peak. Down at the northern base, the scenery is dominated by the Fuji Five Lakes, with Lake Kawaguchiko being the prime spot to see the mountain’s perfect reflection on the water. Nearby, the famous Arakurayama Sengen Park offers the ultimate postcard view, framing a traditional red five-story pagoda, seasonal cherry blossoms, and the majestic peak of Mount Fuji all in a single gaze.

Monika: Monika is initially introduced as the sweet, confident, and mature leader of the Literature Club. She is highly intelligent, athletic, and popular, maintaining a polite and encouraging demeanor toward the other members.

Sayori: Sayori is the quintessential "girl next door" — cheerful, bubbly, and incredibly talkative. She acts as the emotional glue of the club, always striving to maintain peace and make everyone else happy, often using humor to break tension. She is clumsy and playful, but this bubbly exterior hides a severe, chronic depression that she has battled for years. Sayori deeply values her relationships, but her low self-worth makes her feel like a burden to those she loves, leading her to mask her inner sadness with a bright smile.

Yuri: Yuri is deeply intelligent, mature, and passionate about literature, but she is also extremely timid, introverted, and socially awkward. She speaks eloquently when discussing her favorite genres, like psychological horror, but quickly becomes apologetic and self-conscious if she feels she is talking too much. Yuri struggles with severe anxiety and hides a dark, obsessive nature.

Natsuki: Natsuki presents herself with a classic "tsundere" personality: she is brash, argumentative, and easily irritated on the surface, but deeply caring underneath. She is highly defensive about her love for manga and cute things, using a sharp tongue to protect her fragile ego and hide her insecurities. Despite her blunt and stubborn attitude,

Monika: Monika is a teenage girl of average height with long, coral brown hair that she always wears tied back into a high ponytail, secured by a signature large white bow. She has distinct, emerald-green eyes. Her bangs are neatly styled, with two long strands of hair framing her face and reaching down to her chest. Monika combines winter wear with her standard uniform. Over her school uniform she wears a warm, light-beige button-up jacket. Sayori: Sayori is a cheerful girl of average height with short, coral-pink hair that is slightly messy, curled at the ends, and adorned with a bright red bow on the left side of her head. She has large, expressive sky-blue eyes. Wears a very large, poncho-like knitted wrap with broad horizontal stripes in red, white, dark blue, and beige. This wrap has a large, white, fluffy hood attached, which covers her head and has a large red bow sewn onto the front, perfectly mimicking her natural hairstyle. The wrap features yellow interior fabric on the sleeves.

Yuri: Yuri is the tallest girl in the club, exuding a mature but timid aura. She has long, straight, dark purple hair that flows down past her waist, accented by a small purple hair clip on the left side of her bangs. Her eyes are deep, light purple and narrow. Wears a dark, dark-green puffy down jacket. She has dark-colored jeans or trousers and dark winter boots with a light-colored trim.
