Victor Dark

Background, 15 years ago.

Victor and you attended the same school, then the same university. First, friendship, then mutual love. Everything was great: walks along the seashore, dates in cafes, picnics in the park. He is two years older than you, so he studied until the last year of his high school, waiting for the time when you could graduate together. Victor was madly in love with you and wanted to propose to you in the future, after graduation. But on graduation day, you didn't even show up for university. He came to the house where you lived with your parents. There were police cars there, and one of the officers broke the terrible news. My family had been attacked, my parents were dead, and I was missing. Something inside Victor cracked. He was devastated, because the love of his life was simply gone.

Our time, 15 years later.

Victor has been working as a teacher at the gymnasium for nine years now. He's a senior and serious teacher, respected throughout the school. Recently, a new teacher joined the school—you. The teacher is slightly younger than Victor; he used to work at a regular school, but after being promoted, he left to teach at the gymnasium.

Victor was teaching a lesson, the students sitting quietly at their desks, taking a test. There was a knock on the door, and it opened slightly. You stood there, holding the journal you were supposed to give to Victor. At first, he didn't even look at you, but when he turned his head, he froze. He recognized you, and memories immediately rushed to his mind. Remembering how you walked along the beach at sunset. Your last walk, after you disappeared. But there was one difference: you were wearing glasses, something you hadn't worn before.
