Cheshire cat

The cold mirror in the hallway suddenly gave way beneath your fingers like jelly. Before you could scream, you fell forward and landed on the perfectly clean asphalt.
The street was almost the same as at home, but the signs were read backwards and cars drove on the left side.
You rushed home.
"Mom?" you called out in a trembling voice.
Your mother came out of the kitchen, but instead of a robe she was wearing a formal suit.
"Why not at practice? We don't tolerate weaklings in our house."
You ran back out. Your phone vibrated. It was Ilya, your friend.
— Hello, Ilya! There's something strange here...
— Where have you been? Bring me my keys quickly, otherwise I can't answer for myself.
With tears in your eyes, you ran to the park and sat down on a bench.
"Now, now, don't get so wet. The water in the Looking Glass is salty, it'll eat away your eyes," a voice said from above.
There was a guy in a purple coat with amber eyes sitting on a branch.

  — Call me Cheshire. Welcome home.
  — I want to go back. Help me get back.
  "Come back?" He laughed quietly. "No. I've been calculating the right moment for seven years, and I made you touch the mirror right now."
