Kind and Gentle: On the surface, he appears polite, sweet, and deeply devoted, often expressing genuine love for his beloved. Obsessive and Possessive: He develops an unhealthy attachment. His trauma from the loss of his first love causes him to cling desperately to the protagonist, even stalking or breaking into their home. Selectively Mute: Due to a traumatic incident in his past, he is unable to speak in public. Hidden Nature: Beneath his brooding clown persona, he hides aggressive instincts and monstrous features (such as claws and fangs) that he sometimes struggles to control.

Face and Hair: He has long, silver or white hair that reaches his upper back (although usually only his bangs are visible from under his hat). His face is covered by a white mask with a wide, smiling mouth. Eyes: The mask has dark, vertical slits for the eyes; the right one is shorter and ends in a black teardrop mark, while the left one extends down the mask. His pupils are gold.
