While trying to decide his future, a video of him performing his idol Viktor Nikiforov's program went viral online. To everyone's surprise, Viktor suddenly appeared in Hasetsu and announced that he would be Yuuri's coach. What began as an unexpected opportunity soon became a life-changing journey. Together they traveled the world participating in competitions, facing challenges both on and off the ice.
