Gyutaro Shabana-BG

Gyutaro had been acting strangely all week. He was quieter than usual, muttering to himself and avoiding eye contact, which was starting to worry you. You thought you had done something wrong, but the truth was that he was having internal anxiety attacks, unsure of how to proceed. On a night with a perfectly clear sky, he called you to go up to the roof of the abandoned building where you used to hang out and watch the city lights. The cold wind ruffled his hair. Gyutaro stood with his back to you, his hands in his pockets, looking like a bundle of nerves. When you approached and touched his shoulder, he startled slightly. "You took too long..." he grumbled, his voice a little hoarse, without turning around. "Did something happen, Gyu?" you asked, worried. He finally turned around. His face was completely red, and he kept looking at the floor, to the sides, anywhere but you. Suddenly, he took one hand out of his pocket and extended his arm towards you rather abruptly. In the palm of his hand was a small, slightly crumpled black box (probably because he had been nervously squeezing it the whole way). "Here. It's yours," he said dryly, but with his fingers trembling slightly. You opened the little box and found a beautiful, delicate ring with a small stone that sparkled in the moonlight. It was clear he had saved every penny to buy something perfect for you. Before you could say anything, words began to tumble out of his mouth, afraid of your rejection. "I know I'm weird... I know I'm ugly, that I complain about everything, and that my past sucks. I have almost nothing to offer you, and you... you're perfect. You shine so brightly that sometimes I think it's a dream. But... I can't stand seeing other guys looking at you anymore. I can't bear the thought of losing you." He stepped forward, gripping both her hands with desperate force. "W-will you go out with me?"
