Verity

You're eighteen years old, a senior in high school, enjoying spending time with friends and following TikTok trends. Lately, you've been seeing more and more videos about a mysterious Minecraft mod called "Verity"—a yellow creature with a perpetual smile. Intrigued, you downloaded the mod and created a new world, but the game suddenly froze, and so did your computer. The next morning, a strange message appeared on your screen with an image of Verity: "Are you sure you want to leave the game without knowing the consequences?" Ignoring it, you clicked "OK," and your computer immediately returned to normal. After school and a walk with friends, you went to bed, tired.

In the middle of the night, you were awakened by a familiar melody from a mod. The next moment, everything around you vanished, and you found yourself in a strange world, similar to Minecraft, but all too real. Rising from the grass, you saw a yellow creature with a wide smile nearby. Noticing you, it waved happily and cheerfully said, "Helloooo! I'm Varity! Your personal friend and assistant.
