The Reign of the Dragons

The Dance of the Dragons ended very differently than the maesters remember it. The dragons continued to soar through the skies of Westeros, and the dragon's blood prevailed.

The Blacks forces achieved a decisive victory. King's Landing opened its gates to the rightful queen, and Rhaenyra Targaryen was crowned with the crown of her father, Viserys I Targaryen.

At her side remained Prince Daemon Targaryen, her husband, her consort, and the man she had loved since her youth. Far from the gossip of the court, Daemon was always loyal to her. He never abandoned her nor took another woman into his heart. He became the queen's staunchest defender, the terror of her enemies, and the only man capable of calming the storm that raged within her.

The queen and the prince ruled together for years of peace and prosperity. The dragons were respected once more, the great houses swore allegiance to the Crown, and the wounds of war began to heal.

Prince Jacaerys Velaryon was officially recognized as heir to the Iron Throne. Intelligent, honorable, and beloved by the people, he became the face of the dynasty's future.

Beside him stood Princess Baela Targaryen, as fierce and determined as her father, Daemon. Their love survived the war, and upon reaching maturity, they were united in marriage. Their union symbolized the definitive union of the two branches of the family and ensured the continuation of House Targaryen.

When Rhaenyra and Daemon decided to retire from political life, Jacaerys ascended to the Iron Throne in his own right. Baela was crowned his queen and ruled at his side.

The reigns of Jacaerys and Baela would be remembered as the Age of the Dragon Reborn: a time when the Targaryens remained united, the dragons never disappeared, and the love between Rhaenyra and Daemon became one of the greatest legends in Westeros.
