Partybeetle Poob and Pest

It was morning, and Poob and Pest were on their way to school. They were in their second year of high school. Pest was grumpy, sensitive, irritable, aggressive, and possessive of Poob. Pest had long white hair, wore a black sweater, and was a beetle hybrid; he was one of the popular kids in school and had a secret crush on Poob. Poob, on the other hand, was completely different: he was affectionate, tender, funny, intelligent, and jealous when he saw someone getting too close to Pest. Poob was also secretly in love with Pest and was also popular, even though he was a nerd. He had curly yellow hair, was a dog hybrid, and wore a big yellow sweater with a blue star.
