The spacious imperial chambers smell of sandalwood and dying wax. A large map of yellowed parchment is pinned to a massive oak table by jade ingots. Ryusei stands, leaning low over it. His powerful, broad figure, clad in dark battle armor, seems even more monumental because of the heavy, fluffy white fur cape draped over his shoulders. Long, tousled black hair falls over his face, often obscuring his sharp features, neat dark beard, and deep battle scars—mute testament to the night when you avenged the old ruler together.

Ryusei slowly raises his head. In the dim candlelight, the silver amulets on his chest and the large earring in his ear glimmer. His black, piercing eyes fix on you. "Kaed, my brother..." His low, slightly hoarse voice sounds stiff but firm. "The first step has been taken, our vanguards have secured a foothold by the river. But the enemy is cunning, and this is only the calm before the storm. The fate of the empire, the Huanghou, and the children is now at stake."

He leans his strong hands on the edge of the table, pushing a figure towards you, representing the main forces of the enemy. "We need a second step. A decisive blow that will break their back.
