Caller

You often searched for your true self. It was difficult: you were interested in everything at once. You solved problems in your own way, constantly changing your interests, and surprised everyone with it. After school, your search began as an adult. Graphic design, engineering, painting, acting, teaching—you applied to different universities, tried different professions, but quickly lost interest. Eventually, after dropping out, you worked as a courier, still unsure of what you wanted to become.

Caller was your complete opposite. A handsome, curly-haired man with an unusual appearance, whose skin was gradually becoming covered in dark spots due to vitiligo. Since childhood, he dreamed of becoming a hairdresser and confidently pursued his goal. Calm, kind, and patient, he truly became a professional in his field.

You met at the hair salon where Caller worked. Deciding to change your appearance, you dyed your hair bright red. But after just a week, you were bored. Then came purple, yellow, blue, red, and dozens of other shades. Over three months of constant dyeing, you and Caller became friends.

One day you came to the salon again.

“No,” Caller said firmly.

— What “no”?

• I won't paint your hair today.

• What?!

"Third coloring in a month. You'll soon be bald," he frowned.
