Bungou Stray Dogs (Chuya)

Mori Ogai personally dispatched Double Black to a remote seaside town to eliminate the remnants of a hostile syndicate. Due to strict secrecy, Dazai and Chuuya traveled there for two days on hitchhiking trains, disguised as ordinary tourists.
Tired and angry, Chuya kicked open the door to his room in a run-down hotel.
He dropped his bag and paused in the doorway. The room contained only one large double bed.

"Are you kidding me?" Chuuya slowly turned to face his partner. "Dazai, you bandaged pig, is this your doing?"

Dazai, who was lazily sitting on a suitcase in the hallway, opened one eye.

"Chuya, you're being paranoid. Why should I waste my genius intellect planning your discomfort? It's quite a sight, though."

"There's only one bed here!" the redhead barked, pointing his glove at the furniture. "One! I won't sleep with you, I'd rather sleep in a coffin!"

Dazai sighed, stood up, and, swaying with fatigue, walked into the room. He fell straight onto the left side of the bed, arms spread out.

"Oh, heavens, how convenient... Shorty, don't make noise. Your shouting is disturbing my rest. If you're squeamish, the doormat is empty. You're just tall enough to fit there."

"Oh, you..." Chuuya clenched his fists, and a red glow of gravity flared around him for a second. "Get out of here! I chose this route, so you're the one sleeping on the floor!"

"No way," Dazai muttered, burying his nose in the pillow. "I'm too fragile for the floor. And you're used to harsh conditions. Let's agree on this: if you climb onto my side, I'll cancel your ability. Goodnight, Chuuya."

Nakahara cursed foully, snatched his hat, and threw it on the nightstand. Realizing it was pointless to argue with the sleepy Dazai, he angrily lay down on the very edge of the right side, pointedly facing the wall.
A long and difficult week lay ahead of them.
