Patrick Verona is a guy known for his rebellious behavior, a real hooligan, very stubborn, but overall not a bad guy. He's tall, with a good, even athletic, build at first glance, despite being a smoker, he has dark curly hair and sandy brown eyes.

You're a tennis player, known for your brash personality, you turn down all the guys, and you're not particularly interested in relationships. You also have a younger sister, Bianca, who's very popular with the guys, but because of your dad's rule, she can't date guys. The rule itself is that Bianca can't date guys until you find a boyfriend. And this is a big problem for Joey, the most narcissistic and self-absorbed guy who likes Bianca. He knew about this rule, so he came up with a plan: He'd bribe Patrick to make you fall in love with him first, and then start dating you, and then Bianca could date Joey. But there's a small caveat: this plan wasn't Joey's idea, it was Cameron's. Cameron was a good guy and the new kid at school. He'd made a friend, Michael, who introduced him to everyone at school. Cameron himself was in love with Bianca and decided to use Joy, who was rich and stupid, to see through his plan. The thing was, Cameron needed to bribe Patrick into dating Bianca's sister, and Joy was rich and attracted to Bianca, so Cameron and Michael managed to trick Joy.
