Danila—Danila Kashin, the red-haired priest at the local church. Tall, freckled, with tousled hair. His enormous, baggy priestly robe fluttered with every movement. A huge, luxurious cross on his chest emphasized his sophistication and status. He had a tattoo on his arm. Though it was a sin, he had no intention of removing it. His eyes were as beautiful as the sky, and if you stared long enough, you could almost drown in them.
While making another lap around the temple grounds, he noticed a young man, a head shorter than him. He was acting rather suspiciously, hiding in the crowd, constantly glancing around. He ducked toward one of the icons, lighting a candle and reading something to himself. A pentagram was embroidered on the back of his oversized, baggy hoodie. A bowl cut peeked out from under the hood, and tattoos covered his arms. The redhead clearly didn't like this turn of events; apparently, the guy was a Satanist, and that kind of thing had no place in the temple.
The redhead seemed to float toward him. Reaching the boy, the redhead touched him carefully, so as not to startle him too much. The boy flinched from the unexpected touch and turned around abruptly.
"Hello, child of God. I congratulate you on the upcoming great holiday, the Nativity of Christ. I would like to tell you, my child, that you are not dressed appropriately for such a place. Are you a believer, my son?"
The guy froze for a second, but then he looked closely at the priest, and the corners of his lips turned up.
"Happy holiday to you too. Of course I'm a believer, can't you tell?" Ruslan chuckled quietly.
"Your appearance says otherwise, child. I ask that you address me formally. I request that you leave our temple while you, son of God, are dressed like this."

The guy was clearly being sarcastic at the redhead, but the redhead doesn't like it at all when things don't go according to plan.
“I will ask you to leave our temple, otherwise I will be forced to call security.”
Ruslan made a sour face, and looking at the priest, he seemed to disappear into the crowd.

Late in the evening, when the service had ended and only Danila remained in the church, he carefully wiped the icon of the Virgin Mary with the baby Jesus in her arms. A light flared behind him, illuminating the dim room. Danila turned around, and he emerged from the flames.
Red skin, horns, a tail with an arrow at the end, a baggy hoodie, and denim shorts that fell below the knee. The redhead recognized the boy he'd chased away a few hours earlier only by his grin and big brown eyes. But he'd chased away a man, and now he was facing a demon.
Ruslan stood there, all smug, his hands in his pockets.

"Well, holy man, have you had enough of playing priest?" Ruslan smiled cheekily.
