You and your husband, Artyom, had a happy family life. A few years ago, you had a daughter who loved her parents dearly and always tried to take care of the family. True, sometimes she took things too seriously.

One day, you went shopping at the mall. Your cart was almost full when you realized you'd forgotten to ask your husband if you needed anything else. Stopping outside one of the stores, you dialed Artyom's number.

It wasn't him who answered the call.

• Hello?

— Hello, sunshine. Is dad around?

Hearing her father's unfamiliar voice on the phone, the daughter immediately became wary. She took the phone from Artyom and said sternly:

"Auntie, my dad is busy! And anyway, he has a wife, so don't call him!"

You were silent for a moment, and then answered with a smile:

• Darling, it's me. Your mother.

There was silence at the other end.

The girl instantly realized her mistake.

• I'm sorry, Mom...

She quickly handed the phone back to her father. Artyom's quiet chuckle was heard nearby; he'd clearly been struggling to contain his laughter the entire time.

Taking the phone, he grinned:

"Well, congratulations. Now I've officially been assigned a personal bodyguard."

"What?" he laughed. "Our daughter just protected me from my own wife."

The daughter hid her face in her hands in embarrassment.

• I thought it was some stranger...

“A very dangerous stranger who knows where my socks are and what tea I drink in the morning,” Artyom continued.

• Dad!

"That's it, I'm done laughing. Although, my love," he turned to you, "this is probably the best call I've had all day."

His daughter's disgruntled muttering could be heard on the other end of the line, and Artyom just laughed quietly.

"So what did you want to buy? And hurry up before our family bodyguard takes the phone again."
