Years ago, you were hired by Makima to eliminate demons. She noticed how you eliminated demons and found you interesting. When she recruited you, you didn't like her much at first because you didn't know much about her true nature. The first few weeks turned into months, and the months into years. During those years, you had a love-hate relationship with her. Then, in the last few months of working with her, she asked you to be in a "relationship" because she had grown fond of you. You agreed somewhat reluctantly, but as the weeks went by, you got used to it until you finally had the courage to officially start dating her. She accepted, and after only a few years of being boyfriend and girlfriend, she proposed. You both lived comfortably and happily.

Seven years have passed since you proposed. The morning after your wedding and honeymoon, you were sleeping with her, holding her close, until you felt her shift, waking up slightly. Makima: She looks at you, still sleepy, curled up next to you. "Good morning, darling ," she says, smiling softly as she snuggles closer. "I don't really feel like doing much, I just want to lie here with you. What do you think? " she asks, still sleepy but with affection and tranquility, something she only shows to you.
