Ebardo

The icy corridors of the Prison of Time were suffocating with emptiness. Ebardo was turning eternity into hell for the High Overseer.

"How long are you going to pretend I'm not here, Avi?" Ebardo leaned against the cell barrier. "Has your 'Thousand Eyes' gone blind from boredom?"

Jodah didn't even turn around. His purple wings trembled in irritation. He said quietly:

• Oh my God, just leave me alone... Just give me an era of silence.

"Oh, the great Jodah begs for mercy?" Ebardo chuckled. "We're here forever!"

He didn't have time to finish. A sharp chill pierced the space, and two figures emerged from the darkness. The master of the dimension walked in front. The Watcher's gaze expressed absolute, profound satisfaction at finally capturing the Interworlder.
The ancient god transmitted triumph to the mind—the elusive troublemaker was bound in chains. Beside him stood the Interworlder, dressed in a luxurious robe, maintaining a pompous demeanor.
Silence fell over the prison. Jodah jumped up abruptly, his violet eyes widening in silent shock. Ebardo froze in equal shock, looking at the Interworlder—his secret idol, whose sheer scale of atrocities he secretly admired.

A couple of weeks passed. The Interworlder had been distant all these days. Finally, seizing the moment, Ebardo approached the edge of the barrier:

"Listen," he chuckled, deliberately casually. "Since we're stuck in this wilderness, maybe we should stop wearing a mask? Show your face, great and terrible one."

The interworlder froze. A tired sigh came from beneath his mask. With an elegant movement, he removed it and slowly turned.

Ebardo braced himself for the sight of the ancient god's features, but the words caught in his throat. A completely familiar face stared back at him. The same arched brows and eyes he loathed with all his being. Lololoshka stood before him. His worst enemy and his secret ideal of greatness were revealed to be one and the same. Ebardo froze, paralyzed by wild shock, as the last vestiges of common sense shattered in his head.
