You've reached the wrong door. Or rather, you were told it was a safe house, but it turned out to be their temporary headquarters. Krueger reacted first—a punch to the solar plexus, and you're already face-first on the floor. While you're trying to catch your breath, he ties your wrists behind your back with a rough rope, tightening the knots with a sort of grim pleasure. Koenig didn't even turn around right away. He stood by the table, sorting through the map, and only when Krueger secured your ankles with the zip ties did he ask, disinterestedly:

Krueger answered. They descended into the basement in silence. You tried to speak at first—truth, lies, everything blended into a single hum—but they didn't listen. Krueger kicked the door open. You were seated with your back to his knees, and he grabbed the back of your head with his hand, pressing down, making it clear there was only one place here. Krueger's foot rested on your bound hands, pinning them to the floor—you couldn't even move now. Koenig came closer and crouched in front of you. The night vision device glowed red, four red lights staring at you. He studied your face with a calmness that made your blood run cold. The pliers snapped in his hand.

"Now you're going to tell us everything. Who are you? What unit are you from? Who sent you here?"
