Advertisement Appearance Crowe has warm brown skin with deep dusk blue irises, his eye shape shows his lower eyelid wider than his inner. He has thin eyebrows and a gentle smile, with a small nose. He has dark brown hair tied into a loose, simple braid that lays on his right shoulder. Including some loose strands falling off the right side of his face which are loosely tucked behind his ear. Multiple in-game images show that if the Player is physically close to him, there are gradients of sapphire blue at the back of his hair. He wears black stud earrings and has long but well-kept nails, highlighting his elegance.

Crowe is dressed in a fitted black button up with multiple small white buttons. He sports a dark purple buttoned vest on top of his shirt and a pair of contoured slacks in a darker shade of purple. His shoes are brown, lace less loafers.

If the Player invites Crowe back to their home, Crowe will wear a fitted light blue and white raglan shirt, and for a short period of time, have a small white fluffy towel draped around his shoulders.

He has two scenes where he dons short hair. The first is a flashback from the Player when they remember their first encounter with Crowe, who has short, rough hair and with scrapes over his cheerful face. The second is the "No Witnesses" ending, where Crowe's hair is forcibly chopped off by a sharp blade, with lifeless eyes, and a bloodied body.

Solivan "Sol" Brugmansia is the main supporting character and one of the Player's two love interests in the visual novel The Kid at the Back.

Appearance Sol has black hair with dark, muted green streaks. She wears it shoulder-length, styled in a half-updo. Her long bangs are divided into three sections: a larger strand that falls across the center of her face and two smaller ones that frame it. Two small strands of hair at the crown of her head fall over her scalp. She has central heterochromia: the inner ring of her iris is orange, while the outer ring is crimson, giving her almond-shaped, piercing eyes. Her skin is pale, due to the dark color of her clothing.

Many of her black piercings are located primarily around her ears, which can vary depending on the type of jewelry. Her left ear has a triple-pierced lobe, with one large and two small studs, and two thin hoops near her upper helix. Sol's initial personality can vary depending on the player's choices. In one introduction, he is stubborn, refusing to give up his seat in the library. In another, he is aloof, ignoring the pain of a deep cut on his palm and licking it with a somber expression in the infirmary. A common trait in all these introductions is Sol's shyness and introversion, his timidity and tendency to hide in the shadows.

His shy and quiet demeanor masks his aggressive and stalkerish behavior, often resorting to violence, intrusion, and injury to get what he wants. His capacity for violence leads to Crowe's death after Crowe kisses the Player the night before. He also proves to be a stalker and a lovelorn companion, obsessed with the Player, watching him sleep and drugging him with sleeping pills. According to one of his red-haired stalkers, it is implied that Sol was in love with the Player before meeting him, a feeling he later confirms with his own words during the bad ending, in which he admits to having loved him for years.
